- Title: CHICAGO - THE MAC SYSTEM FONT FOR AMIGA
- Keywords: CHICGO MACINTOSH FONTS BITMAPPED FIXED CALLIGRAPHER ARC
- -----
-
- This is newly revised and cleaned up version of the Mac system font
- "Chicago" converted for use by any Amiga programs which use normal
- bitmapped fonts (like Sapphire, Ruby, etc. - the kind that come on
- your Workbench disk in the FONTS directory).
-
- I had uploaded this previously but just recently realized that the
- font was going to look a little odd in most programs - mainly because
- the kerning and spacing was not correctly set. If you downloaded the
- older version found here, delete it and replace it with these new files.
-
- I've corrected the kerning and spacing (Using Calligrapher 1.05, just
- recently released) and am reposting this font in four sizes: 12, 15, 23,
- and 30. The small 12 point is perfect for word processing in such
- programs as ProWrite 2.00, Excellence, and the like.
-
- This is a conversion of the actual Macintosh "Chicago" system font which
- you see in most all advertisements prepared using Macs. You'll recognize
- it instantly when you use it.
-
- Assuming someone reading this might not understand how to install a new
- font... copy the file "chicago.font" into your FONTS directory. Then make
- a subdirectory inside your FONTS directory called CHICAGO and copy the
- four number files: 12 15 23 and 30 into that new subdirectory. If you
- do this correctly your software will recognize the new Chicago font
- in its requester or menu and allow you to select it.
